Digital Organiser / Communications Officer

The Australian Education Union Tasmania is looking for a Digital Organiser/Communications Officer and applications are closing soon so get in quick.

This is a full time permanent role with great opportunities to utilise and expand your digital, communications and organising skills.

As Digital Organiser you will be responsible for written content, digital communication and data management that mobilises members and supports the AEU’s campaigns and organising work. The role has a primary focus on building member awareness, engagement and activism, but will also engage with external media, union campaigns and stakeholders.

Organiser (New Educators) – Southern Tasmania

AEU Tasmania wants to hear from AEU members or community campaigners/organisers interested in working inside the engine room of the AEU! We’re recruiting now for an Organiser to be based in Hobart, starting in Term 1, 2021.

This is a 0.4 FTE Organiser role with a strong focus on early career teacher members. We’re able to provide some employment flexibility and a secondment may be an option for AEU members, with the fixed term contract finishing at the end of Term 2.

You’ll receive top-notch training and support and it’s a great opportunity to expand your skills outside of the classroom or in a new challenging role.

Organiser – Northern Tasmania

AEU Tasmania wants to hear from AEU members or community campaigners/organisers interested in working inside the engine room of the AEU! We’re recruiting now for an Organiser to be based in Northern Tasmania, starting in Term 1, 2021.

This is a 0.6 FTE Organiser role and we’re able to provide some employment flexibility. A secondment may be an option for AEU members, with the fixed term contract finishing at the end of Term 2.
