TasTAFE slash-and-burn flags more jobs cuts in Learning Design

TasTAFE management have announced another change proposal – a major restructure of the Learning Design portfolio.

Areas affected include the Digital Learning Transformation team, Educational Design team, and Educator Capability team. All fall under the Learning Design portfolio.

If this goes ahead, 14.6 FTE will be cut, including 8 of your coworkers.

We want all members in TasTAFE to have their say on these cuts. The consultation period opened today and closes Friday 13 February 2026.
