Supporting Hillcrest, One-Year Commemoration ceremony

In the lead up to anniversary of the tragedy that happened at Hillcrest Primary School last year, our thoughts are with the children, their families and the whole of the North West community at this difficult time.

The AEU Tasmania Branch continues to support members on the North West following last year’s December 16 tragedy and we encourage all members to reach out should they require support.

After consultation with families and the community, a commemoration ceremony is being held at Market Square, Devonport on Thursday, December 15.

Community members are invited to attend the ceremony to honour the lives of the six children lost that day.

Where: Market Square, 137 Rooke Street, Devonport
When: Thursday 15 December 2022 from 5:30pm

Attendees are invited to place flowers and messages of support at the ceremony.
