Matt’s TAFE Journey

Matt Stevens knows the value TAFE provides to the community. The Kettering shipwright, who has certificates in carpentry and marine craft construction, credits his TAFE education to helping him achieve industry success. Through his TAFE experience, Matt received a $5000 scholarship for his boat building apprenticeship which has led him to where he is today.
Wednesday August 11 is National TAFE Day – an opportunity to celebrate the achievements of our public TAFE system and to remind governments of the importance and value TAFE provides to individuals, local communities and the Australian economy. #NationalTAFEDay #RebuildWithTAFE
