ESP Day/ Week

It was so pleasing to see several school events across the state held to acknowledge and thank Education Support Staff for all the hard work they do.

It was so pleasing to see several school events across the state held to acknowledge and thank Education Support Staff for all the hard work they do.

May 16 marked International ESP Day – an opportunity to let ESP know how much they are appreciated while highlighting the value of their work and seeking to improve their working conditions.

In Tasmania, the AEU chose to celebrate ESP Day as a week-long event to express added thanks to our dedicated ESP. Across the week in May, AEU afternoon teas were held in Hobart, Launceston, Devonport and Burnie to thank ESP.

Thank you to all members who sent in photos of workplace celebrations held at your school!
