Building a more powerful, organised union depends on you and your cowkorkers getting actively involved! You can do that by getting to know your reps and leaders (or becoming one!), submitting sub-branch motions, and becoming part of the conversation by joining an AEU Member Group or contributing to Ed Notes!

Ed Notes is a public forum for union members to put your issues on the agenda – whether it’s discussing how we build power and organise, the issues we need to win, or what’s going on in your workplace.

Want some tips on how to exercise your right to speak about your experiences as an educator without getting in trouble with your employer? Check out our AEU Fact Sheet: Speaking up and Speaking out.

(Don’t worry – we’ll send you some suggestions if we think your submission could get you in hot water!)

Contributions will be reviewed prior to publication to ensure content is not discriminatory or inconsistent with the AEU’s Code of Conduct.
