The Australian Education Union Tasmania wants to hear from a team leader who will inspire and motivate people to build our collective numbers, power and capacity!
We are recruiting now for a Lead Organiser to lead a team of six across Tasmania.
This is a 1.0 FTE role with a strong focus on leadership, mentoring and strategy.
As per the AEU Tasmanian Branch Employees’ Agreement 2022 Level 9-1 ($128,299 per annum)’
The AEU offers family-friendly conditions and benefits including:

The Lead Organiser is responsible to ensure the AEU can retain, grow, engage with members, effectively mobilise power and develop member leaders using organising, recruitment, campaigning, and data-driven strategies.
AEU Tasmania offers some employment flexibility, with a permanent position following a six-month probation period, or a fixed-term secondment for AEU members where applicable and preferred.
