AEU Disabled & Neurodivergent Members

Supporting and advocating for recognition, inclusion and justice are core union business.

Get together with other AEU Members to build community, share resources and support, and build our campaign for better conditions and supports for disabled and/or neurodivergent educators and students!

Our aim is to support schools in Tasmania to be accessible by default – places where educators and students can feel safe and included because accessibility is part of a shared culture, not just a reaction to our being there.

With new industrial agreements just around the corner, now’s the time to start building the claims we want to take into bargaining! So if you want to see better accessibility and flexible work arrangements, equitable promotion practices and work environments that are free of discrimination and harassment, get involved below!

How can I be involved?

However you want to! We’re building a space for AEU members to connect, campaign and make change on issues that impact us. If you have an idea for an event or an issue you want to see action on, get involved!
