In my role as a teacher I get to work with an amazing bunch of people.
Everyday they turn up to work with courage, enthusiasm, patience and determination to make a difference in the lives of their students and community.
I feel privileged to be part of the AEU Executive where I can represent my colleagues and campaign for a better Public Education system.
There is much to be done with more in-class support and resources for our students and teacher workload issues being a top priority for me in my role as an Executive Councillor.
COVID, of course is also a major issue on the radar and I feel proud of the work that has been done by our Union to support and advocate for us in schools.
I believe collective action is powerful and together in Union we will make a difference.
